How to Create an Instagram Reel Using The Brand Source Reel Prompts

In today’s market, Instagram Reels aren’t just a nice-to-have—they’re essential. Reels are one of the most powerful ways to boost your visibility, build trust, and connect with potential buyers and sellers in a real, relatable way. Whether you're showing behind-the-scenes moments, giving home tips, or sharing market insights, short-form video helps you stay relevant and top of mind.

That’s why we’re prioritizing Reels in our subscription—so you can stay ahead of the curve without the guesswork.

Each month, we now include even more Reel prompts and captions, designed specifically for real estate agents. Some include suggested trending audio to help you tap into what’s hot, and others are created without audio, so you have more flexibility to make them your own. Whichever style you prefer, you’ll always have fresh ideas and ready-to-use content to help you stay consistent and on trend.

In this post, we’re showing you exactly how to take a video from your camera roll and turn it into a polished Instagram Reel—with saved audio, custom captions, and on-screen text. Let’s make Reels your new favorite marketing tool.

How to Save Trending Audio on Instagram

Saving audio makes it easy to come back and use it later when you are ready to create your own reel. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open Instagram and scroll through Reels
You’ll often spot trending audio by the arrow 🔼 next to the audio name—it means the sound is gaining popularity.
  2. Tap the audio name
You’ll find it at the bottom of the reel. This opens a page showing all the reels that have used that sound.
  3. Tap “Save Audio”
It’s the bookmark icon in the upper right corner. Once tapped, the audio is added to your saved sounds.
  4. Access saved audio when creating your reel
When you’re making a reel, tap “Audio” > “Saved” to browse all your saved sounds and choose the one you want to use.

Pro Tip: Create a habit of saving trending audio when you see it—even if you’re not ready to film right away. That way, you’ve got a library of ready-to-go sounds when inspiration strikes.
